Beattyville - Vivian Dale (Combs) Jackson, age 56, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, KY. Vivian was born in Beattyville, Lee County, Kentucky, on August 16, 1955, a daughter of the late O'Rear and Flora (Estes) Combs. She was a cook for the Light House Restaurant and attended the Body of Christ Holiness Church. Vivian enjoyed her family and being a homemaker. She is survived by 2 sons; Shannon (Connie) Johnson of Irvine, KY, Shane Johnson of Beattyville, KY 2 daughters; Crystal (Jamie) Green of Booneville, KY, Becky Johnson of Clay City, KY 2 brothers; Bill (Teresa) Combs, Steve (Virginia) Combs, both of Beattyville, KY 7 sisters; Gelonda Cope of Booneville, KY, Joann Flynn, Louise Coomer, and Carol (Larry) Wright all of Beattyville, KY, Edith (Fred) Brown of Flatwoods, KY, Angie (Greg) Carlin of Indianapolis, IN, Martina Roberts of Richmond, KY, 9 grandchildren; 1 great grand child, and many other loving family members, and friends. Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters; Onevia Collins, Margaret Reed and 1 brother; Bobby Gene Combs. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 1:00 PM at The Booneville Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Westley officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday October 19, 2011 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at The Booneville Funeral Home. Vivian will be laid to rest at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Booneville, KY.
