Lillian was born May 27, 1929, in Booneville, KY, a daughter to the late Joe and Fannie (Angel) Evans. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed cooking. She was a member of the Means Community Miracle Church. She is survived by 2 sons; Ronnie (Teresa) Herald and Toby (Rose) Herald both of Beattyville, KY, 3 daughters; Phyllis (Darrell) Steele, and Mildred Herald of Beattyville, KY, and Berneace Herald of Booneville, KY, 5 brothers; Bill Evans of Beattyville, KY, James Evans of Booneville, KY, Kendall Evans of Beattyville, KY, Tommy Evans of Means, KY, and Gary Evans of Lexington, KY, 4 sisters; Lucy Grimette of Michigan, Thelma Couch of Beattyville, KY, Ruby Holton of Richmond, KY, and Ann Rowland of Beattyville, KY, 12 grandchildren; Angie Murrell, Patrick Sturgill, Amanda Deaton, Renita Herald, Mike Steele, Darren Steele, Casey Herald, Jessica Herald, Kevin Herald, Amy Mayabb, Jason Jewell, and Cassandra Morris, 22 great-grandchildren, and one on the way, 6 great-great grandchildren, and many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; Joe and Fannie Evans, husband; Harlan Herald, sister; Hazel Morgan, brothers; Lee, John, Wayne, Joe Jr, and Charles Evans, 4 grandchildren; Debi Herald Reece, Ronnie Paul Herald, Scottie Jewell, and Greg Herald, 2 great-grandchildren; Patrick Herald and Destiny Jewell. Visitation will be held Friday, October 5, 2018 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the Booneville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Booneville Funeral Home with Pastor Tommy Evans officiating.
