Leonard Terry Sanders Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Booneville, KY – Leonard Terry Sanders, Jr., age 83, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at the Lee County Care and Rehabilitation Center in Beattyville, KY. Terry was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on August 18, 1929. He was the only son of the late Leonard and Constance (Beatte) Sanders. He was a retired Chief, Dental Technician with the U.S. Navy serving his Country for more than 25 years including a tour of duty during the Vietnam Conflict. Terry was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Order of the Eastern Star, Shriners Drum and Bugle Corp, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Fleet Reserve Association, and the Owsley County Sportsman Club. He is survived by 4 daughters; Terry (Jeff) Treude of Dothan, AL, Mary Rauss of Glendale, AZ, Kerry Hathaway of Lexington, KY, and Sherry (David) Lytell of Booneville, KY, 11 grandchildren; Jason Thompson, Corinne MacDonald, Keith Navalta, Terry Renna, Christopher Renna, Cassandra Malinowski, Alexandra Rauss, Cory Malinowski, Branwyn Duff, Katrina Malinowski, and Lindsay Rauss, 7 great-grandchildren, 2 nieces; Shirley Sears and Connie Wilson along with many other loving family members and friends. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife of 25 years Beryl Ann (Jackson) Sanders, and his 2 sisters; Josephine (Charles) Milligan and Frances (Truman) Daniels, and nephew Charles Terry Milligan.
