Booneville, KY – John Randolph Lambert, age 62, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2012 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY. John was born on May 10, 1950 in Benedict, Virginia; a son of the late Frank and Maude (Gamble) Lambert. He was a former Deputy Sheriff for the Lee County Sheriff Department and was associated with the Baptist faith. He is survived by a special companion; Donna Smiddy of Booneville, KY; 1 son; Donnie Lambert of Beattyville, KY; 2 daughters; Sherrie Roof of Bartow, FL; Barbara Taulbee of Beattyville, KY; 2 Brothers; James Lambert of Richmond, KY; David Lambert of Mt. Vernon, IN; 3 Sisters; Joyce Lambert of Cledef, OH; Alice Hunter of Indiana; Georgie Sparks of McKee, KY; 3 grandchildren; Alayna Halford, Carlie Roof and Macie Roof. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers; Fred, Lee and Jessie Lambert. Funeral Services will be held at the Booneville Funeral Home, Booneville, KY at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 13, 2012 with Pastor Thomas Crawford officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 13, 2012 from 1:00PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
