Booneville, KY- Ellis Lee Barrett, age 67, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at his daughter’s home in Annville, KY. Ellis was born May 21, 1953 in Booneville, Owsley County, KY, a son to the late Herman & Mae Nerva Barrett. He is survived by 6 children; Ellis Gwyn Barret, and Kristy Michelle Turner both of Austin, IN, Casey (Gary) Robinson, Crystal Barrett, Mardy (April) Barrett, and Adam Barrett all of Annville, KY. He is survived by 1 brother; Jimmy (Brenda) Barrett of Booneville, KY, 4 sisters; Mary Bishop, Jacqueline (Billy) Tibbs, Betty (Lee Jr) Smith all of Booneville, KY, and Phyllis (Vernon) Bucklin of Aplington, IA, 18 Grandchildren, 11 Great-Grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, and many other loving family members, and friends. Along with his parents; Herman & Mae Nerva Barrett, he was preceded in death by 1 sister; Martha Smith, 1 brother; David Dale Barrett, 1 great-nephew; Edward Allan Couch, and 1 great-grandchild. A private graveside service will be held Thursday, December 10, 2020 at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. He will be laid to rest in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
