Charles Stamper

August 24, 1966 - February 14, 2014

Georgetown, KY – Charles Frank Stamper, age 47, husband of Celeste (Yeary) Stamper, and formerly of the Buckhorn community of Perry County, passed away Friday, February 14, 2014 at the Baptist Health Center in Lexington, KY. Charles was born in the Oneida Community of Clay County, KY on August 24, 1966 a son of the late Jess and Emma (Hudson) Stamper. He was a welder with Toyota Motor Manufacturing in Georgetown, Owner of Breathitt Publishing an accomplished writer publishing his own writings, enjoyed golfing, spending time with his family, an avid fan of the University of Kentucky Basketball program, and a member of the Grace Christian Church in Georgetown, KY. He is survived by his loving wife of 8 years, 2 daughters; Emma-Grace Diane, and Avery Elizabeth Stamper all of Georgetown, KY, 1 brother; James (Joy) Stamper of Buckhorn, KY, 3 sisters; Reva O’Neil of Daytona Beach, FL, Darlene (Jimmie) Herald of Booneville, KY and Nelwood (David) Wheeler of Buckhorn, KY, several special nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, close friends; Steve Caudill, Allen Wallace, David Gadd, Stevie Barnes, Roger Morgan, Rob Matthews, and Dr. John Gohman, Oncologist, along with many other loving family members and friends. Charles was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers; Roger Dale and Arlie Clay Stamper. Funeral Service will be held Monday, February 17, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Booneville Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Brown officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday February 16, 2014 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM followed by a celebration of life service at the Grace Christian Church in Georgetown, KY, a second visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday February 17, 2014 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
