Brian Stewart Banks MD, 41, Jackson, KY, husband of Melissa Wilham Banks, died Monday, September 23, 2013 at the Kentucky River Medical Center, Jackson, KY. He was born December 21, 1971, in Whitesburg, Letcher County, Kentucky, a son of Verlon and Carol Sue Hatcher Banks, of Whitesburg, KY. Brian was a physician with Mountain Comprehensive Health Corporation as a family doctor servicing Booneville, Owsley County KY for over 10 years. He was a member at Eller's Memorial Baptist Church in Harrodsburg, KY. Brian is survived by: his parents: Verlon and Carol Sue Hatcher Banks; his wife; Melissa Wilham Banks. One brother: Brandon(Stacey) Banks of Whitesburg, KY. Mother and Father in-law; Larry and Carla Wilham, Sister-in-law: Kim(Tim) Reynolds, Brother-in-law: Larry(Patty) Wilham Jr.; Nieces: Kaylee Banks, Storm Hall and Ashley Ison. Nephews: Josh Ison and Blade Reynolds. Great Nephews: Creed Hall, T. T. Dunn and Isaiah Linton. Visitation was held Thursday, September 26, 2013 from 11-1pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY. Graveside services were held Thursday, September 26, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Spring Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg with James Harley officiating. Pallbearers where: Jason Banks, Josh Banks, Randy Partin, Danny Frederick, Steve Williams and Troy Williams. Honorary Bearers: Brandon Banks, Larry Wilham Jr., Tim Reynolds and Aunts and Uncles.
